The Official "I'm Sorry" Meal

You ever been so mad that you forgot  why you were mad in the first place? I do that a lot lol.

With our half vegan diet  I have really  tried to minimize the carbs essssspeciallyyyy  at night. But sometimes  you have to compromise;)

Nothing really special about how I made the rice. However to plate it this way I packed it all in a bowl and turned it upside-down on the plate and it came out that way on the plate. I topped it with siracha and I also made a special green sauce (not pictured).  I wish I could say I made the Injera... it actually came from the Ethiopian  restaurant  we went to last night.

Needless to say he liked it:D

New Adventures

So, I haven't post anything on a blog since I was 18 and nerdy so bare with me.

Destiny and I have been getting it in at the gym the last few weeks and really trying our best to eat healthy. Yesterday we had one minor slip up at an all-you-can-eat chicken pub in Manayunk. But it was kinda worth it lol. Now it's time to get back on our grind and back to the gym.

Can I just say how proud I am about our progress? Destiny is a pro at working out and has seen results in the past. (I loved the results myself!) As for me, this is my first major attempt at losing weight. Also this is the first time that  Des and I have tried something like this together. I want to lose weight so I can look good and live longer. I mean, I do want to run with my kids one day;)

Also I want to do this to build another bond with Destiny. She truly drives me to be better, and what other way can I be better than to shed this weight off with my best friend? It has been a big adjustment for me, especially with us having a vegetarian like diet. I'm a big country boy who loves his meat so I must be serious to give meat up to lose weight! After 3 weeks I already see results and feel whole lot better about myself.

So with that being said, I will continue this journey with my girl and there will definitely be more to come. Sorry if I'm all over the place with this post. I'm  just really excited about documenting our progress about getting Fit 2 Luv and most importantly Fit 4 Our Future!!!!!

Peace!
